If you are a fan of “Fat Bike”, these bikes with large wheels made to ride on the snow, you will be delighted to learn that Mont-Sainte-Anne offers 26 km of winter bike trails, in the center of Cross-country skiing, cut into 7 loops of different levels, from beginner to expert.
The winter bike network also allows you to join Marie-Josée and Red Creek, 2 heated shelters, to take well-deserved breaks. Be aware that winter bicycles are available to rent from the Alpine Center Sports Shop.
Daily rates: $ 12 for adults and $ 11 for 17 and under and 65 and over. A season ticket for $ 79 for all winter is even available!
Ice fishing … in the heart of the city
Do you want to fish in the heart of the city? This is possible thanks to the Nordik Village of the Port of Quebec (Louise Basin). On a site offering an exceptional view of Quebec City and the Old Port, it is indeed possible to practice ice fishing with the possibility of renting a heated igloo.
And to complete the loop you can go to the Old Port Market which will offer you to prepare your decision. It will be open from January 18 to March 11, 2018, depending on weather conditions.
Cross-country skiing in Old Quebec
For the first time in history, the world’s best cross-country skiers will compete in Canadian competition at a stage-by-stage competition.
Québec City will have the privilege of hosting 2 of the 8 stages of Ski Tour Canada in the heart of picturesque Old Quebec. The competition will be held from March 17 to 19, 2018.

The mobile application the self-guided snowmobile tours of KM ZERO is one of the winter novelties. There is an interactive map with over 1200 km of loop trails divided into 7 circuits with varied landscapes.
House of Literature
For those whom the pleasures of the snow would leave of marble, here is a new place much better heated: the House of Literature. It is a meeting place for citizens, writers and creators of literary arts.
There are exhibitions on Quebec literature, writing firms, comics workshops, creative studios, residencies for writers and collections specializing in literature. This house is already open in the old Wesley Temple in Old Quebec.
